A.	Chorus
Each singer interested in chorus membership must:
	•	Present one prepared song in any language
	•	Engage in guided vocalization conducted by HEOG staff
	•	Demonstrate music sight-reading from a provided selection by HEOG staff

B.	Soloists
To audition for opportunities as a soloist, an applicant must:
	•	Sing one prepared song in English
	•	Sing one operatic aria from the standard repertoire in a foreign language (Italian, French or German)
	•	Sing second operatic aria in a constrasting style and in a different language from the first

C.	Dual Consideration
For consideration for both choral and solo opportunities, a singer may be asked to do a combination of A and B. See above.
